The first album “thread of stone” by kanekoayano, a band led by Kaneko Ayano, will be released on CD/record!

The band kanekoayano led by Kaneko Ayano released their album “thread of stone” as a surprise digital release on April 25.

It has been two years since her last album “A Towel Blanket is Peaceful”, and this is their first full-length album since they changed their name to “kanekoayano” last August.

After a year of pre-production with guitarist Hirotoshi Hayashi and bassist Takuyaiizuka, drummer SEI NAGAHATA and percussionist Ryotaro Miyasaka were added as supporting members, and all songs were recorded in about two weeks.

The total of 10 songs, including re-recordings of “Lucky” and “I’m not sad”, inherit Kaneko Ayano's past style, but the arrangements are much more flexible, evolving and deepening into a more psychedelic and experimental style, with congas and steel pans interwoven to depict various landscapes in each song.
