The beginning story of "The Legend of Zelda." The long-awaited soundtrack CD for "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" has finally been released.
Since its first release in 1986 on the Family Computer Disk System, Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s "The Legend of Zelda" series has continued to be loved by fans for more than 35 years.
This is the release of the original soundtrack for "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword", a title that depicts the “beginning” of the Zelda world, including the creation of the Master Sword in the series’ timeline.
"The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" was originally released as a Wii software title on November 23, 2011, and its remake was released this year on July 16 as a Nintendo Switch software title. The music that colors this vast game world of soaring skies and vast lands has remained highly popular since the Wii version, and this long-awaited CD release arrives as a major milestone. It is being released in a large-scale edition to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Wii version’s launch.
