Description

The full orchestra concert of "The Legend of Zelda", held for the first time in two years, is being released on CD. The limited first edition also includes concert footage!

Since its release on the Family Computer Disk System in 1986, the "The Legend of Zelda" series by Nintendo Co., Ltd. has continued to be loved by fans for many years. Two years have passed since the "The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary Concert", held in 2016 to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary, and a new full orchestra concert was held again this year.

One of the defining features of the series is the presence of musical instruments throughout many titles. In this concert, a new and well-received program focused on three particularly iconic instruments from the games: the ocarina, harp, and accordion. In addition, performances also included selections from the latest title released on Nintendo Switch, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", as well as carefully chosen classic tracks from across the series. The CD release features the audio recorded from the Tokyo performance, conducted by Taizo Takemoto and performed by a full orchestra.

The limited first edition also includes a Blu-ray disc containing concert footage, as well as game visuals displayed on the concert screens, allowing both to be enjoyed together. The Blu-ray features the concert audio in high-resolution quality, bringing the live experience back to life with exceptional sound clarity and immersion.
