Description

Can you yodel gaming's most famous melody? Well, we know someone who can!

For the 10th anniversary of the label, Black Screen Records is over the moon – or let’s say “over the mountain” in this case – to announce the 7” vinyl release of Takeo Ischi’s new single. “Takeo Endboss” shows the unrivalled yodel king from Japan performing game music’s most iconic tune – the immortal theme of Tetris.

After announcing the 7” release for Gamescom, where Takeo Ischi performed and did several signing sessions, the record is now available everywhere. Next to “Takeo Endboss” it also includes Takeo’s cult hit “Bibi Hendl” and two remixes, both previously unreleased. Wrapped up in exclusive artwork, this is a must-have for not only Takeo’s fans but also game music enthusiasts, listeners of German volksmusik and every serious vinyl collector. Secure yourself a copy while stocks last!

With the release of “Takeo Endboss”, the team of Black Screen Records is melting their passion for vinyl, game music and Japanese culture with their German heritage, while they’re celebrating the label’s 10th anniversary. There will be more announcements and special releases in the oncoming months – stay tuned for all kinds of exciting stuff!
