Life isn’t fair. Ever since grandpa died life has never been fair. I try to do the right thing, but something always happens that makes it worse. I tried going to college and found no friends. Now I come back home to Possum Springs and my friends have all changed. Why can’t life be fair?

This is the reality that Mae Borowski finds herself in at the beginning of the beloved Night in the Woods: a confused, shattered person trying to exist in a world that left her in the past. The game is a coming of age story that follows Mae as she adapts to this new reality that awaits her with her three friends: Bea, Gregg, and Angus. 

Revered for its strong story telling and exemplary soundtrack, Night in the Woods is a work of art that people still talk about years after its release. The game sparked many reviews and essays about its realistic take on mental illness, the dangers of nostalgia, and the deeply moving music, making it one of the most celebrated indie games of the past decade.

Now, finally, for the first time since 2019, the Night in the Woods soundtrack has returned to vinyl through a collaboration of Very Ok Vinyl, Stumpy Frog Records, Infinite Ammo & Finji. Now is the time to grab this piece of video game history.
