Mina the Hollower’s old-school soul is alive and well in its stellar soundtrack. Composers Jake Kaufman and Yuzo Koshiro cooked up a chiptune-tastic feast using some pretty OG hardware; the original Game Boy sound chip, with just a sprinkling of the Konami Sound Cartridge (from the MSX) added to taste.
The result is one of the best soundtracks of the year, video game or otherwise. Equal parts creepy and cozy, the music of Mina sets the perfect mood for its brilliantly-realized gothic world. iam8bit is proud to partner with the fine folks at Yacht Club Games to bring Mina’s soundtrack to life with a very special release. This is the Mina the Hollower 3xLP, pressed on rich, gorgeous Velvet Purple Splatter Vinyl.
For the album artwork, we once again turned to Mina’s retro roots for inspiration. The center labels feature a zoetropeinspired design with Mina herself in action, a celebration of Yacht Club’s devotion to the craft of pixel art and animation. The jacket, with art from our friend Nimit Malavia, boasts 3Denhanced details — and in the spirit of everything throwback, we’ve included special Mina-themed 3D glasses that actually work with the artwork! The result is a release that feels like a truly unique piece of video game history.
Shipping Policy
ETAs are estimates and subject to change. They are kept up to date on product pages. We do not have more info beyond what's on the product page.
We use a variety of shipping carriers from Canada Post, USPS, UPS, PostNL and APC. A shipping carrier will be chosen based on the best available rate. Generally, the breakdown will look like this:
Canada: Stallion Express (Uniuni, ICS, Canada Post, others)
USA: 3rd party handed off to USPS
Rest of the World: PostNL / APC
All orders are shipped from Ontario, Canada.
Flat-rate shipping fees to Canada and the USA only cover up to 5 kg. Orders over 5 kg will be invoiced separately for shipping.
All orders are tracked unless otherwise noted in the shipping.
The insurance on our shipments does not cover parcels once marked delivered. We cannot refund or replace items delivered to the address on the order. Please ship your packages to a secure location.
Orders outside Canada and the U.S. are not returned to us if they cannot be delivered or picked up. These orders are destroyed so we are unable to offer refunds. Please make sure you are monitoring the tracking link.
We ship once a week, generally on Monday or Tuesday.
Orders that include pre-orders will ship once everything in the order is in stock.
Import fees/duties/customs/tariffs are the buyer's responsibility. Orders returned for non-payment of these fees are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The cost of the item, minus the restocking fee and excluding the shipping, will be refunded when the returned order is received. This applies to Canada and US orders only. Orders outside Canada and the US are not returned to us, see above.
