Kingdom of Zeal's debut album a progressive rock & jazz-fusion celebration of Chrono Trigger!
Kingdom of Zeal honors the spirit of Yatsunori Mitsuda's Chrono Trigger OST, while bringing it new life through live instrumentation, improvisation, and reharmonization.
“Wind Scene”, from Chrono Trigger, takes its 8-bit roots and mixes it with guitar-driven progressive rock performed by the Kingdom of Zeal. The single is the first release from the band’s upcoming self-titled album. Originally composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, “Wind Scene” accompanies the player while exploring 600 A.D. Kingdom of Zeal’s version opens with an 8-bit introduction before shifting into a full-band performance led by guitar and Andrew Lawrence’s piano.
