Description

Black Screen Records is excited to announce the signing of Japan’s rising pop star AiNA THE END, in partnership with Avex Music Creative Inc. In January 2026, Black Screen Records will release AiNA’s first original vinyl, featuring 8 songs from popular anime shows and films, including tie-in songs from Mobile Suite Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, The Apothecary Diaries, Mononoke The Movie: Phantom In The Rain / The Ashes of Rage and Moonrise as well as her chart-topping hit single "革命道中 - On The Way" from Dandadan Season 2 that has just celebrated over 100.000.000 streams.

The exclusive artwork for “My Collection of Anime Songs” has been illustrated and designed by the German illustrator Liya Weng (@mochipanko) and continues the concepts and mood of AiNA’s "革命道中 - On The Way" single campaign. The first pressing is available on "Pearl Horizon" and "Crystal Clear" vinyl and comes with a four-page 12" booklet, including lyrics in Japanese and English.

AiNA THE END’s debut European show will be held as part of 2025’s Manga Barcelona (167.000 visitors in 2024) in Spain.

AiNA THE END launched her career in 2015 as a member of BiSH, the unconventional punk band that performed without instruments. Following their major debut the following year, she later released her first solo album “THE END” in 2021, featuring tracks she personally wrote and composed, marking her serious transition to solo work. In June 2023, BiSH disbanded after a sold-out farewell show "Bye-Bye Show for Never" at Japan’s legendary Tokyo Dome (55.000 capacity). AiNA has since been active as a solo artist.

In January 2024, AiNA wrote the theme song “Takaramono” for the TBS Sunday drama “Sayonara Maestro: Chichi to Watashi no Appassionato”, followed by a stream of new releases including “Frail,” the theme song for the film “Henna Ie”, and “Love Sick,” the theme for the theatrical film “Mononoke The Movie: The Phantom in the Rain.” Her music has consistently been selected for commercial use, including “Heart ni Heart” (Glico Pocky), “Kaze to Kuchizuke to” (NIVEA), “Poppin’ Run” (Volkswagen T-Cross), and “Christmas Card” (Tokyo Christmas Market 2024).

Beyond music, AiNA played the lead role of Janis Joplin in the Japanese premiere of the Broadway musical “Janis” in 2022. In October 2023, she starred in her first film, “Kyrie’s Song”, directed by Shunji Iwai, earning multiple prestigious awards for her performance. Her solo tour “Grow The Sunset” and her first headlining concert at the iconic Nippon Budokan, "ENDROLL", both held in March 2024, sold out completely.

On November 27, 2024, AiNA released “RUBY POP”, her third solo album and her first in three years. In December 2024, she held her first solo concert overseas, followed by the completion of her national “Harinezumi Smile” tour across eight cities in January 2025. Starting in October 2025, she embarked on another nationwide tour titled “Kakumei Dōchū”, covering nine cities across Japan. She is set to play her final show for 2025 called "nukariari" at Tokyo Garden Theater on December 20, 2025. She will also perform at the prestigious NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen TV Show on December 31, 2025 - her first time as a solo artist.
